From June 29 to July 9 in the Art Park MUSEON there will be a festival for all professionals of the landscape industry and for those who admire nature beauty.
For a few days the territory of the park will turn into the most enchanting corner in the whole of Europe. The VI Moscow International Gardens and Flowers Festival and Moscow Flower Show will greet its visitors with millions of varied flowers from all over the world.
The best professionals of the landscape industry, designers and florists from Russia, Great Britain, Holland, France, Italy and other countries will gather together during the landscape art Fashion Week. They will hold educational seminars and master classes for anyone who wishes to learn about how to plant flowers and decorate the surrounding landscape, not only in the country side, but also on your own small balcony in a city apartment.
A number of events at the festival will address families and children's interests. Visitors will be able to see the gardens of the children who are finalists of the National Landscape Design and Landscape Planet of Flowers Contest, and also join the event, where movie and television stars and their children will build mini-gardens under the guidance of experienced specialists.
In addition to the traditional Rose Day, the festival will celebrate the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness. Urban landscape designers from different regions of Russia, along with leading European experts, will talk about their breakthroughs in landscape design.
The jury will be headed by accredited judge of the Royal Society of Gardeners and popular BBC TV presenter James Alexander-Sinclair. The jury will consist of the Vice President of the Parks and Gardens Foundation of France Princess Marie-Sol de Tours d'Auvergne, as well as the President of the Moscow Flower Show Karina Lazareva (the only Russian winner of the Chelsea Flower Show).
Traditionally, during the festival, Russia will become the world's center for landscape design. On the site of the Moscow Flower Show festival professional educational events will be held, during which the best world experts on the transformation of the surrounding space into works of art will give pieces of advice and recommendations to visitors. Every year over 80 thousand people attend the Moscow Flower Show.
